Another really great way to support a foster child or a foster teen would be to become a virtual mentor which would mean that with as little as one electronic communication per week such as a text, an e-mail, a phone call, a Skype, or even a Facebook note, you can support a teen who is trying to start his or her life as young adult either through higher education or through getting a job and one of the things that i have learn in this area from both the research and talking to former foster children is that one of the most important factors in there life that have help them to become successful is having one caring adult in there life.
