A stay-at-home dad's day consists of--I always liken it to being in one of those old timey stores where the owner lives upstairs and in the morning they come downstairs and open the store. They count out the cash registers, they open the gates. I mean, I turn on the griddle, I open up the curtains, I do the cat box, I get the food going, I get the snacks and lunches going, and then I wake up my customers who are my two kids and then business starts happening. And once the kids go to school, I can focus on running the family business, doing errands, paying the bills, dealing with the kids' social calendar, and all the things that you would normally do when you're raising kids. And, then I go pick up the kids, and we have our afternoon activities. They do their homework, or if it's summertime, we do something else and basically it's like running a business. You get everything started. You do your business during the day, then you close up shop at night, put them to sleep and do it all over again the next day.

Scott LenzStay-at-Home Dad
Scott Lenz was born in Lewisberg, Pennsylvania. By the time he reached 9th grade, he had been to eight schools, which explains a lot about his social awkwardness. However, his wife Suzanne and two kids - Jaron, 13 and Georgia, 10 - went to less than five schools combined, so it all evens out.
He was the original rat mascot for Chuck E. Cheese, and since then has been a record store manager, music journalist, television documentarian and, most recently and importantly, a stay-at-home dad. His single greatest hope is that ABBA will one day reunite.
