If you don´t have access to a doctor of Chinese medicine or an acupunturist, you can practice the principles of Chinese medicine at home. For example, look in your kitchen cupboard. You have cooking herbs. For example, peppermint. Peppermint is wonderful for relieving congestion, headaches. It settles the stomach. Ginger, that´s a common spice in your kitchen that you can use to settle the stomach. It deals with nausea, stomach flu, pain, bloating, gas. So again, you can right away utilize these principles. Acupressure, if you don´t have access to acupuncture, why not use acupressure? There is a point right here in the web between your thumb and index finger. It´s the most common acupuncture point. You can press that for truly all kinds of problems, ranging from pain to congestion to the common cold. So again, you can start practicing acupressure. And if you want to know a little more about it, you can check out, for example, my book, Acupressure for Self Healing. You can also read one of my 14 books, Secrets of Self Healing, which includes many, many sort of helpful at home remedies to help yourself. And you can look up herb healing. You can buy herbs in healthfood stores or online. So there´s all kinds of ways that you can incorporate Chinese medicine into your healing regimen for your family.
