High performance psychology primarily focus on what’s possible. And it’s the research and the understanding and the insights about how people that are the best in the world, how they explore their assets and how they cultivate their skills over a lifetime to work towards mastery. And can they do that on the world stage on a consistent basis. And that’s the essence of high performance psychology. Tradition psychology, have a very important role of dysfunctioning and the pain and the suffering that people go through. And so they’re two really important conversations to have to understand the full human expression and the experience and the difference is notable. One is spending time spending exploring what’s possible and the other understanding the relieving the suffering. When working with world class athletes; there’s a host of challenges that we’re paying attention to. Some of those are really clinical in nature. People suffer around the world stage from depression and anxiety; handfuls of other challenges that are part of the human DNA. At the same time what we want to do is cultivate the assets and really pay attention to what they’re naturally good at and articulate a pathway for them to explore their potential and that takes an incredible amount of work. So there’s a combination when we’re exploring the potential of a human to be able to understand what’s getting in their way, maybe from a clinical standpoint as well as the assets they naturally bring to the table they need to be able to refine to trust on a world stage.
