So the book is dedicated to my own mom who was an incredible role model for me because she gave my sister and me unconditional loving while at the same time really making us feel that we could go for our dreams and if we failed she wouldn’t love us any less. And I think that’s really the biggest lesson of Thrive for Moms. How can we always be there for our children no matter what is going on for them and teach them that failure is not the opposite of success. It’s a stepping stone for success. Because right now there is this tendency to make sure our children are ready to compete in the world. We overschedule them. We have all these extracurricular activities. And we make them feel stress and pressure from a very early age, which has terrible consequences later. So when we can just relax as moms, we are going to communicate that to our children.
