When inspired me to create a local online parenting network is when my first daughter was born, I knew nothing about babies. I had never even changed a diaper. I went to a Mommy and Me group. I met 15 moms and we became friends. I got everyone's email, and this is back when email was still pretty new. I'd email them if I had a question. I would email them to try and meet up somewhere to try and get parents to come out with me with their kids. So, what started out as 15 moms years ago, has now grown to 12,000 families in the Los Angeles area. It just made my life easier because if I had a question, I would go online and ask a question. I would get an answer immediately.
