integrity is particularly important to men, because this is who you are. Men need to understand that the words, the way they behave, their actions all these things are very important. if you behave one way, or say things in certain situations but do things differently in different situations, people start to question your integrity. And you don't really want that happen. This is especially important for fathers, your word has to be your bond with your children. If you tell them you are going to the recital, you better be at the recital because they remember these things. They won't remember the gifts that you bring them but they will remember that time when you show up. So you have to show up cause your integrity is at stake. Compassion is a huge trait for dad's to have, a lot of people believe that men are not compassionate and that is not true. Men have a form of compassion that is different from women's compassion. The true definition of compassion is, the need and having the desire to take care of that need. We have to show our children that we have feeling that we compassionate beings, we have to show them that we care about others. If we don't display these traits our kids won;t understand how to develop it. We have to do it not only by saying I am compassionate person but by doing compassionate things. Going out to the community, helping others but also having that compassion at home. understanding that we have to take care of the needs with our children, wit our wives, with our family, our extended family. We have to show that compassion every single time.
