Sometimes women will recover to 100% just using natural and alternative treatments, such as acupuncture or light therapy or some energy psychology techniques or certain supplements, and that works great. What's important is that she is using whatever works for her. And for each woman who comes to see me and is consulting with my colleagues, each woman needs an individualized plan because certain combinations will work for one woman and maybe not for the next. But sometimes, again the natural treatments are all she needs. She needs a wellness strategy with realistic expectations, also in with emotional support, physical support, sleep, exercise, those should be mixed in as well. No matter what, each woman should be working with a therapist, a talk therapist as well. Ideally one who really focuses on this particular area. But again, each woman is different. She's got a different biochemistry, she's got different preferences, different temperament, personality, wishes. So an individualized plan needs to be put together for her, even with the alternative therapies.
