With a toddler's nap schedule, you are talking about from ages one to three. A one year old still needs two naps per day. They are usually between 9:00-10:30 in the morning, so an hour and a half; and an hour and a half in the afternoon, usually 1:00-3:00. By about fifteen months old, they are down to about one nap per day. One nap from about 1:00-3:00, is the average, two hours is about right for that age. That continues right up until about three when they slowly don't need naps anymore. Everyone starts crying because they want their child to have the nap, but unfortunately, they can't nap for the rest of their lives. Around three or four years of age, they is when they are done napping.
