Not all traumas are alike. The severity of all traumas are not alike either. So, each trauma does have to be treated in a somewhat different way. In our books we give guidance of how each particular trauma can be treated. But all traumas are about the child becoming stuck in some way. In their body. In their feelings. Of them being days being in shock. And that's a common factor in helping the child overcome all kinds of traumas. To help them get unstuck from the terror, the horror that may be stuck in their bodies. So, the answer, I would say, while all traumas are different, they all result lin our getting stuck in this shock reaction. And by learning to discover the sensations of that shock and letting them move through, parent will hep their children resolve all different kinds of traumas.
