Autism program?

Posted February 23, 2017 - 10:13pm

Hi all,
Does anyone here get your child to attend an autism program which includes dental care and guidance? My daughter is an autistic child and her dental health is extremely poor. I know, dental problems are related to autism and it needs special care and treatment. She has decayed teeth and also showing difficulties in brushing and tossing. One of my friends suggested me to get help from an autism program ( https://www.smiletown.ca/parents-info/autism-program/ ) which is organized for the dental care of the kids with autism. It is a 12 step program which can be scheduled for 3 months by a well-known kid's dental clinic in waterloo. Does anyone here had attended such programs? Was it worth for you? It would be kind if you share your experience.
