Dental care of my child

Posted March 21, 2017 - 2:31am

Hey, I have a three-year-old daughter and she has got twenty teeth. My husband is complaining that I am not looking after her dental health. She has got cavities in her teeth and some of them are discolored too.
I do not know how to take care of the dental health of my child. I have tried my maximum. But, none of them is showing an effect. I have read a blog ( http://www.shorttermbraces.com/blog/dental-tips/how-to-teach-dental-heal... ) which explains in detail about teaching dental health to kids. The blog says that it is essential to take the kids to a dentist at least twice a year. I have not yet taken my child to a dentist. Is it necessary to take a three-year-old to a dentist? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

It's not necessary but if your kid has got cavities in her teeth then you should go to a dentist. I'm not an expert but I know that junk food can cause a cavity. Maybe you should kick out most of the junk food if you're giving your child any, and increase the intake of dairy products.
