Security using an app?

Posted February 23, 2017 - 11:53pm

Hii all, I am working and sometimes I need to work in rotational shifts. I don’t feel comfortable working late in my office. My friend just had a scary incident in her office last month. She was working late and she was the last one to leave. Her cabin is way inside and then when she was about to leave, the door got stuck and she was not able to open it. She screamed but nothing happened. She called her friends and colleagues and after a few hours of terror, one of her friends picked her up and she was safe. I was really tensed after I heard about this incident and while I was surfing online for some safety tips for lone workers I came across an app. This app can be installed on all smartphones and it can monitor any emergency situation. Has anyone over here ever heard about this kind of emergency monitoring system( http://www.proteleccheckmate.com/products/checkmate-never-alone/features/ )? Any help on this would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sandea, there are many such apps available now. I haven't used any, but it seems to be very useful for those working late.
