The great silver lining for being a divorced Dad for me has become a developing an extra ordinary unique relationship with my daughter that will last forever because of having been a full parent. Before the divorce it's not uncommon for a Dad to play a certain role and not know about little things and get involved with their friends and do their homework with them and take care of the scraped knee, but when you're the parent and your time alone with them you've got to cherish this very very unique opportunity if they are young you might be diapering them, you maybe feeding them, you maybe brusher a little girl's hair and helping her to pick out clothes and that's magic and those you could really really cherish uniqueness of getting to play the role as become full parent and getting to experience seeing things in a different level that you'll never experience as just a parent living a lot of responsibilities to the other spouse. Another amazing gift you get as a single parent especially a single Dad is appreciating just how much it takes to parent especially for the mother so when you see how amazing a job it is and also how difficult in trying a job it is especially taking care of young once and dealing with kid's emotions and school problems it gives you a different appreciation for your ex spouse and may let you really ease off your conflict towards them and appreciate more what they did as a mother for your child.
