Can parents trust babysitters in foreign countries? I would almost say. I would encourage you to use baby sitters in foreign countries, because not only it's going to provide an awful lot of relief for you and your adult travel mate to get out and escape the kids little bit, but it's also a great avenue for kids to discover some great local color. I think you have to use your instincts. Just as you hear about whether you want to go with a particular baby sitter or not. I find hotels are very helpful and in finding good baby sitter and I find it's very easy to like the selection you have received simply because somebody babysitter used overseas or parents themselves. That said I have to say that we have had some in trouble experiences through our baby sitters. I remember we were in Rio, 2 years ago and used a babysitter there who want to take the kids to where he lived which is a ___ which is one of the slims and I remember our host was little bit horrified by the whole thing but we thought, well, why not and then we came back that evening and heard all these incredible things our children experienced and we actually insisted in going back by the other next day and having a look for ourselves, he had access to a part of a Rio society that we would never have seen otherwise. It was actually very interesting and actually learn a lot about the Rio just through our kids baby sitters. So a baby sitters offering incredible window into local culture. I think don't use tour guide, use a baby sitter, you are going to see an awful lot of more.
