Taking care of your nanny is so important. This is the person who looks after your most prized possession, you children. And it's really important to take care of that person so that they're better at taking care of your children. And also, it will help you maintain the same care long-term. Nannies don't just need their money every week. They look for things like extra benefits, whether it be paid holidays, paid vacation, sick days. But also for families who can't afford those things, just think outside the box. Who are some of your friends? Maybe one of your friends owns a spa boutique and you can offer them a spa certificate that you purchased at a reduce price or was given to you in some way; just sort of think about things like that. What's important is that your nanny feels appreciated. The more that she feels appreciated, she's going to stick through those tough times, and that's what you want.
