One of the most important thing when dealing with our kids from a discipline understand, you have to choose to not just be looking at their behavior. Behavior, at the end of the day, is not what you are after. What you are after is the heart of your child. You want your child to choose to do what's right because it's right. Not just because they are going to get caught or because they are going to have a problem or whatever. You want to train them to choose what's right. In terms of disciplining your child, it's really important that you do invoke natural consequences, the law of the farm. Also, talk with the child and ask these three questions: What did you do wrong? Why was it wrong? What would you do differently next time?
