There's so many alternatives to violent video games. Violent video games get a lot of attention, but they're not the only ones out there. There's a lot of things that kids can do, playing video games, where they are actually learning real skills, like learning how to compose music, learning how to improve their serve in tennis. I really encourage parents to play games together, find some great games like the Wii sports resort that allow families to take turn playing games, that's another great skill that kids can learn as they are playing, there are so many alternatives to violent video games and the violent messages that are sent out there.
