Practicing effective discipline is a lot easier than people think. It's consistency and follow through. It's that simple. Both parents have to be on the same page. You both have to be on board for how the discipline is going to be dispensed in your household. You can't make idle threats. You can't go, "I'm going to give a count to 3" and count to 10. You have to be consistent and you have to follow through. The hardest thing is following through but you have to.
