What are some things to know about your pregnant wife as a first time dad? I think one thing to keep in mind is that she needs to be catered to. She is aside from growing another human, she is also growing an organ in the placenta. And I personally have never done that. I do not know what that is like but I cannot imagine that it is that easy. I think that in doing that the energy and the nutrients are being sucked out of her and I think that her body is completely overworked. I think that even applies more so for the working mom. I think there is also a tendency for them to be maybe a little over emotional and I think that as a dad you need to not take that stuff so personally and just take a minute and put yourself in her shoes and think about how she feels.
