I think it's important for kids to have responsiblities around the house today, even though it's a different generation. The generation I grew up in, we had to help around the house and work and be responsible. Today it seems like there's so many other activities out there for the kids, we don't want to put anything more on their table. But I still think it's an important thing for them to do chores around the house and to take on a certain responsiblity. Life isn't free. I mean, you have to put out a little bit and do something else for other people just to be a well rounded person. So I'm all for giving kids responsibilties around the house; taking out the trash, cleaning up around the house, for sure cleaning their bedroom, to make sure they become responsible people as they grow older.
