A Will is an important document because a Will is a document that describes who the guardians or who it is that you wish to rear your children should something happen to you. If you pass away without selecting a guardian, then it's really up to the courts to decide who is going to take custody of your children. That's never going to be a fun process. It's much better to have select who you and your spouse wish to raise the children, then having the court arbitrarily decide who that should be.
