Very often, what appears to be a dental emergency situation, luckily, is not. A heads up to all parents: If your child falls, there's usually a lot of blood. However, that is not necessarily an emergency. Emergency situations are, for example, a cracked tooth that is causing pain, any type of swelling of the face, any type of trauma to any area of the face, including; lips, tongue, teeth or the nose.
