One of the ways that you can make your child's hospital room more comfortable is by providing the comforts of home when you come to the hospital. If at all possible, involve your child in this process, and get them to select some things from their room at home that they'd like to bring with them to the hospital. Typical things that our families bring with them to the hospital are pillow cases, books, games, hand-held game playing devices, personal computers. And another important thing that you can bring with you to the hospital are photos of your family. So that way, when your child wakes up in the morning, they can look around and feel that they're like in a familiar space. And they're surrounded by those people who love them
