I don´t think kids drink enough water. That is what I am concerned about. I see some of the kids in Jackson´s class at time and other children I know. They drink fruit drinks, those little boxes of fruit drinks that are incredibly high in sugar. Some of them have lead in them actually. And I think water is really, really important. It is an easy way to get your child to have a good dose of vitamin C. You can always squeeze a fresh lemon in his water. I keep in the refrigerator bottles of water with lemon in them. Oranges, cucumbers. I cut up mint that grows in the garden and we just put it in there. I mean it is all these great things I put in his water and I know he is getting extra nutrition. He loves it and he is drinking water.
