Parent tend to use both their real identity, and I believe some have incognito names. The reason being is that sometimes they have a question and they don't want the whole group knowing it's for them. One of the reasons that I recommend having a different name for those that are going through a divorce because we've had situations where an ex will get in on the group and repeat stuff that she has said on the group in court. Although, it is a nice little community that we have, I always warn people that whatever they say on the group could go outside of the group, so be careful what you say. One of the things that is special about a community is that they get to know one another. In that case, people do use their real name and when we have get togethers, everyone is already known, even though they've never even met. The majority of the people do use their real name, however, there are some people are going to use an anonymous name to protect their identity when asking certain questions.
