Teaching children how to be resilient is something that they will mostly learn from the modeling behavior that you exhibit. If you're a positive person and perhaps your child is a little bit more negative, there's really not a whole lot that you can do to change that temperament. But you can acknowledge and accept that as who they are simply by acknowledging their feeling, and those are negative comments and emotions that they're expressing. Simply by acknowledging those situations will help you move past them a little quicker and help them bounce back.
