Being the best parent that you can be really means that you have to have a sense of what is most important to you. I think, the most important thing for all of us is being intentional about how we live our lives. That concept of intentionality comes from a sense of saying, "Who do I want to be as a parent?" "What is the end of what I want from my relationship with my children?" For me, being a spirituality perspective, the best thing that I can do to be the best parent that I can be, is to really seeking to know God with all my heart and to love Him. To have a relationship with Him, and to use His word to be the guideline for me in terms of how I choose to look at my family responsibilities and my relationship with my children. I think that, beginning with that end in mind, that spiritual connection to your creator, is what helps you to be the best parent that you can be.
