On average, children spend around seven hours a day in front of a screen.  Do you know how much time they spend outside? Four to seven minutes.  The numbers are clear – American children have all but replaced time in nature with smartphones and computers. And here’s an even more disturbing statistic: kids spend twice as much time on their smartphones than talking to parents.
Being a parent means that you always have to keep a watchful eye on your children’s safety, which includes precautionary measures, especially when driving. Vehicle accidents are a leading cause of children fatality, so you have to make sure your child is properly secured. It’s necessary to follow standards of your country for child restraint. These precautionary measures are there for a reason – if you stick to them, they can be very effective in protecting children in the event of a car accident. Even if you want to go to the nearest store, you never know what may happen.
There are numerous reasons children should play. From developing their imagination creativity and motor skills to improving their physical movement, reflexes and balance, unstructured play is definitely something every child can benefit from. And let’s not forget that this is also the way our little ones learn about the world. This is why you should provide them with an adequate space for these activities.
Children learn about the world around them through games and play. During this time, they develop the necessary skills vital for later in life. And, since they are influenced by their surroundings, toys impact their growth by engaging their physical and mental recourses in a fun and interesting manner. Additionally, early toy preferences may provide a window into their future job occupations and roles in society. This is why it is instrumental that parents observe their child’s behavior and supply them with toys that support their passions.
