Transcription:
My oldest daughter, I was excited to sign her up for Ballet classes and she refused to go in. She didn't want to do it. You're saying to a three year old, "I paid all this money." They don't really understand that. I really made her stick to it. I said, "At the end of this session, if you really don't like Ballet or Gymnastics," whatever it is, "You asked to take this class and we paid for it. We are going to finish." What I've found is that the more they go and do get involved, they like it and stick with it. I think if you let your child walk away from activities that they sign up for -- It is easier to be lazy or if you are scared and don't want to go. Once you get into the rhythm of things, you finish them. It really even helps now as they are older. I say, "Okay. We are signing up for this and you are going to finish it." I really think it's made them stick to all their classes.
