There are many rooms in your home that perhaps you don't want your child in at all. These rooms can include a home gym, a home office, your laundry room, a hot water heater closet, and your pantry. These are just areas you don't want your child to get into. A home gym; the equipment, really poses a hazard to small children. A home office, while there may not be so many hazards if you've covered your outlet covers or cover on your power strip, but that's something that you want to keep organized. You wouldn't want your child, necessarily, flinging papers all over the place. And then, your pantry, of course, you don't necessarily want your child getting in to all kinds of food items. So there are definitely areas of your home that you'd want to lock up, and keep your child out off completely. The best way to keep an off-limits room off-limits to a child, you can put a sliding bolt up at the top, out of reach of the child, hook an eye latch, or you could even put a gate in the doorway to keep your child out of the room.
