When you’re thinking about having a baby through assisted reproduction, there are so many steps and so many moving parts. The thing that I recommend initially is to consult with an expert, a lawyer, a psychologist, or an agency who can help you understand what all of those moving parts are. Because if there are things that you need that you won’t know you need, kind of like if you were building your house, you get a contractor, so you need lawyers, you need doctors, you need insurance, you need a travel agent, you need a surrogate or an egg donor or a sperm donor and an expert can help you start to put those pieces together. Each of those has a whole world of its own that has moving parts and all of those things are something that an expert in the field of assisted reproduction can help you get started on.
