I would say, the pros of the Bradley Method is it gives you a lot of information. You anatomically know what's going on with your body. You learn more about the birth process, which I didn't know. I know me, I had never seen anybody give birth, so I didn't know what to expect. It clues you in on what's happening and the different stages of labor and what to expect from your body. When you go into the hospital, you don't feel like people are using terms that you are unfamiliar with and talking over your head. That you feel unqualified to talk about your own birth. That doesn't happen when you do Bradley because you feel like you know that term and I know what you are talking about. I am in transition and it's normal. The pros for that would be that there is less anxiety because there is more information. When there is more information, there's less reason to be freaked out. The only cons is that it takes a lot of time. I think we spent ten hours in Bradley classes, but it was a good investment.
