Transcription:
The best way to prepare for a parent/teacher conference is to begin to make a list before you ever get to the classroom. That list needs to include questions, such as, what part of the day is the best part for my child? Where does she excel? What are the things that she loves to do? Do you notice if there is anything that she seems to be struggling with? Be prepared to ask the teacher if there is anything you can do to support what they are doing in the classroom. Make sure that you are part of the team and be a problem solver, not a complainer.
