A lot of parents are worried about their kids spending a lot of time online and getting bullied. There's a couple things a parent can do to make sure the child stays safe and what to do if they are bullied. First, if they get an inappropriate text message, they should stop the action. They shouldn't write back to that person, ask who they are or ask for more information. Second, they should save the action. A lot of teenagers, when they get something inappropriate or something that's mean, their instinct is to delete it. Actually, they should save it. Teach them how to take a screenshot on their computer or how to print out active IM windows. That way, they can come to you for step three, which is report it. They can report it to parents, counselors, there are also website that can report bullies. Stop, save and report, is what you need to help your teenagers deal with if they get bullied.
