If you live in a warm area, your child will get lice at some point during their childhood. It is almost inevitable. However, to prevent yourself or your child from getting lice, there are some things you can do such as not washing their hair because lice love clean hair and they hate dirty hair. So if your hair is really greasy, it is hard for a louse to grab onto one single strand. You can also put gel in their hair or product or some sort of oil that will keep the lice from grabbing onto one single strand of hair. And you will know when you don´t have lice anymore if you have combed for about two weeks, every day for about two weeks and you don´t find any eggs or any bugs. That is a good indication that your lice infestation is over.
