The number one thing that a woman should do, if she's struggling with Pregoxia during pregnancy is get help immediately. Ask for help from her husband or partner, or a friend. it's vital for her to get in contact with her obstetrician, to let the doctor know that she's struggling with this so that he's on board. Usually, my therapy practice, when i work with a client that has Pregorexia; we put a whole team together. There's the obstetrician, who works with the baby and the mom. There's me, who works on the psychological end of it. There's the nutritionist, who makes sure that the mom and the baby is getting enough nutrients and there's, sometimes, a psychiatrist involved. It's a whole team approach that the mom needs to get through with the Pregorexia in a healthy way. Also, if they need more information on what to do about getting treatment, if they're not sure where to get treatment, is to go the National Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. They are a national organization that you can find treatment providers and referrals, all across the nation.
