From the idea of not using plastic bottles, not using plastic bags from the dry cleaners by taking a cloth bag and letting them send it home in that; obviously reducing trash, not buying food and toys, and necessities that are over packaged. The list is endless and easily accessible. But what you should do after adapting some of those various simple things yourself is then advocate. Advocate in your children's school, as well as, advocate on a local state and national level for stricter regulations of environmental toxins.
