One of the tips to overcoming the challenging situation of being a single parent is to not be ashamed to ask for help, to be okay to ask your friend for help or to ask your family for help, because I know for myself sometimes I can't be in two places at once, and that gives me a lot of stress and anxiety. So it makes me feel a lot better if I can just call somebody and say, look, can you pick up my child for me that day? And we can do an exchange. That works very well. And then I think taking personal time for myself. For me, I love to take walks or take a bath. Even if it's just 10 minutes on my own. Sometimes I can regenerate and get me activated for the next stage. Another great thing for somebody who's newly single and is a single parent is spirituality. I think that we're spiritual beings, and sometimes you need a higher power or something to help you get through the day. And whether it's Buddhism or Catholicism, even if it's getting in touch with nature or yoga, something that connects you to the source, something that is greater than you, that can give someone a lot of solace and peace and just make you feel that you're not alone.
