It’s one of the secrets of parenthood: Not just children get separation anxiety! Many parents are unprepared for the feelings of sadness and emptiness they have when separated from their children. The emotions that pop up when you leave your child with a babysitter or when you watch your child drive away in the school bus can span from a dull ache all the way to worry and panic.
While the challenge of “senior spring” has received ample attention (“The Waiting Game,” “6 Ways to Maximize Spring Semester of Senior Year” and “Already Gone” come to mind), less so may be the rigor of the two semesters that precede it.
We're gearing up for April, Alcohol Responsibility Month, with the launch of our new educational materials with Scholastic! We're sending materials from our Ask, Listen, Learn program featuring our partner, Classroom Champions, to over 25,000 classrooms around the country to help kids say NO to underage drinking through fun activities and classroom discussions!
