There are some common tricks and lures that child molesters and predators use. They are as old as time because they work. Common tricks like asking a child for help. A common trick would also be like, choosing one outstanding child and making them feel more special than the other children. The authority trick or lure is another common one. I am the adult, you have to do what I say. Another common trick or lure, is the undermining your parents authority. Mom won't let you stay up late? You can come over to my house and stay up late. Mom and dad won't let you watch this video? Don't listen to them. You can come watch it at my house. Any adult who undermines the rules and authority that parents have with their children in order to gain favor with your kids, could be a predator in the making.
