If your child likes to spend time at their friend´s house without you, that is fine. They should be able to go to their friends´houses and not have mom or dad around all the time, but we should do our due diligence first. Find out who is this family. Do they think the same way I do about child safety? Is there any substance abuse going on in the house? Do I get an uh oh feeling because they simply don´t seem right? If the parents are angry all the time, if you know that there is a lot of chaos in a household, I would be cautious about my child spending time in that house without me.
