Moxa is one of the standard acupuncture in Chinese medicine treatment that we use for many different conditions. In some of the fertility conditions, we would use Moxibustion. It is utilizing and herb called Artemisia Vulgaris. It is the herb of a plant that is dried and roasted, there is a little fur on the top of the plant. You scrape that off and roll it up. It's almost like a wool type material. You roll it up into a cigar shape and you burn it like a cigar. You use that to hover around different acupuncture points for different purposes. For example, abdominal points for fertility treatments. There are some points in the leg as well. We also use Moxa to turn the fetus as well, very well actually, in some of the breech presentation cases. Moxa can be used for certain types of fertility treatments. It's quite effective. It's quite helpful. It creates a heat sensation. It doesn't burn. It's very comfortable. It's one of the treatments for infertility conditions.
