I think the first question, once you've asked yourself about becoming a mother, is if you are ready in the sense of a long term? Look at it in a long term, don't just look at it in a short term. What am I doing for the next 20 years? How am I going to take care of my child? In the sense is that, have some plan. Have some kind of a framework, "Where I'm going." The reason is being that in the short term it's going to be chaotic, having a child is a chaotic experience. It's a beautiful, lovely experience but your life is no longer yours. You're basically a caretaker for this wonderful, beautiful spirit 24/7. So in the sense is that you're not going to be able to look after yourself so much.
So I think one of the first thing is look at you health situation. Are you healthy? Look at some of the basic financial situation. Are you financially stable to be able to take care of this child? I think these are some of the things -
Regarding to maturity, well you can learn along the way because your child is going to be your teacher basically. So I think that, you don't have to worry about too much. But in reality is that you've got to take a good look at your health. Good health, good energy is important to have a child.
