How do you know if you are overdoing it postpartum through sleep deprivation or any other thousands of things that come along with being a new mother. Listen to your body. Take time to listen to your body. If it is saying it's exhausted, don't push through an exercise routine. If it is saying, "go for it," go for it. I think that's one of the things that people need to do most, is to take a moment to listen to what their body is saying, and execute that.

Tom Williams, the founder of fatburn.com, is a Certified Personal Trainer. He has worked in Santa Monica, CA for over ten years.
