The surrogacy process is a collaborative effort on the part of the experts. Kind of like building a house. The role of the agency is to serve as the contractor. They are going to know what all the moving parts are and all the things are that need to be managed. From screening the surrogate, screening the donor, managing the match with the parents; all of the way through managing the part of the pregnancy, psychologically, medically, legally; all the way to the birth of the child. They are going to, essentially, hold your hand as you go through it, since there are hundreds of moving parts in the process.
