The most important thing as a parent is to love our children unconditionally, to teach them that they’re perfect and they’re whole and they’re complete. I don’t mean that they can’t do any wrong, but that inside their soul, they’re exactly who they’re meant to be and that we love them unconditionally. We don’t try to change them. We teach them that we’re proud of ourselves and we teach by example and we set that example by living a life of charity and giving and generosity and they learn. And they become social activists by seeing us standing up for the people who need to be stood up for. And they become strong and have that foundation for themselves based on knowing that they are just who they’re meant to be and that that’s perfect.
