Detecting race-based bullying is something every parent of a mixed race child need to be on the lookout for.
Some of the things that I would look out for; are your kids coming home saying they are being told that they are different or getting questions about why one parent looks different from another parent. Why they have a certain type of hair or eye color. Some of this is normal kid conversation, but some of it can beyond that into teasing, hazing, and bullying.
You always want to be on the lookout for what your kids are telling you that their peers are saying to them.
