When thinking about the best way to feed your family a healthy diet, oftentimes it can be confusing because you might be drawn to certain types of diet such as gluten-free or vegetarian. I think the most important thing is to always remember fresh food is always the best. So whether it is gluten-free or vegetarian, if you can chose fresh ingredients, ingredients that you can identify, that's always the best choice. When looking at vegetarian food, again, you know just because it is vegetarian, if it's packaged and processed, that may not necessarily be healthier for your family. The same is true of gluten-free, and certainly if you have gluten allergies or gluten sensitivities, you want to make sure that you are avoiding foods with gluten, but the same rule applies in choosing fresh ingredients. So in the case of gluten, you might want to opt for non-gluten grains such as Keynoir instead of flour or, you know, wheat.
