When you are in a supermarket and you are looking for organic product, look for the USDA certified organic fill, which means that at least 95% of ingredient in that product is certified organic. You can also find other products that are labeled such as made with organic ingredients and that means that up to 70% of the ingredients in that product are certified organic. So it's important to understand the distinction and if possible, look for the seal. As far as fruits vegetables and produce, look for number 9 on the stickers that you see on the fruit and vegetables and number 9 means it has been grown with organic practices and therefore it is certified organic. As far as meats, it's important to really look at the way that the meat has been raised and how it's been fed. So look for grass fed, look for wild fish, because any other meat or fish that have been farmed, you don't necessarily know what these been fed and they may have been fed conventional grain and seed.
